ٹلتا نہیں کیسا عذاب ہے
یہ مِری روح کا حساب ہے
یہ تِرے شوق کی منزل نہیں
فقط آگہی کا سراب ہے
مجھ پہ ہی موقوف نہیں لوگو
اُس کا بھی دماغ خراب ہے
اتنا آساں نہ سمجھو سعادتؔ
کاروبارِ عشق کا نصاب ہے
