Fifteen minutes

Monday, March 17, 2003

Till yesterday I had nothing to do… now it seems that I am the busiest person on planet Earth.

I am still wondering that how quickly today went. First I went to the institute to check up my results. And to my surprise I did well. (No, I didn’t play “Bricks” this time before the exams, they somehow went better for me themselves). Then I had this “journey” to the office of traffic police walas, so that I could get those forms which need to be submitted to earn me a driving license. Now this was one journey which made all my boredom run away. I mean, if you have to walk for fifteen minutes to reach the bus-stop, then spend next fifteen minutes waiting for the bus, then travel all the way for about half an hour, then walk again for fifteen minutes to reach the traffic police office, then stand there and try to figure out that from where you can get the forms you are here for (and waste another fifteen minutes), then finally get those forms, walk back for fifteen minutes, wait for the bus during the next fifteen minutes, travel back for half an hour, and yet again walk for fifteen minutes to reach home… you’ll end up either with an uncanny ability of judging the time-period of fifteen minutes, or you’ll get tired. And my body decided to get tired.

Although tired, I was happy that finally I got out of that bored syndrome. And looks like that in the coming days, I am going to get way too busy, as the registration for next semester has started there in my institute. I guess it’s time to find my text-books… and I hope that it would take more than fifteen minutes…

P.S. It took me about 8 minutes to write this entry…
