This blog is no longer being updated. Last post was “Farewell”.
Looks like this journal has had enough of me.
It’s just some days (well, not just some days) ago that I celebrated the first birthday of this journal. And I am really thankful to all those who wished a happy birthday to him. (Yes, this journal is a ‘he’). How I smiled and nodded while reading those wishes. And how I planned about the next year of my journal’s life. But this world —this cruel world— has got some different plans for me. I had thought that this entry would have been about my plans about the fate of this journal. Well, the fate of this journal is still here and I am going to write it down, but it’s not as I had planned it to be. It’s so weird, that after the first birthday of this journal, and after I had said that I am looking forward to the next year, now I am here to say that I am no longer going to update.
Here. I said that. Now punch me.
OK. You’ll punch me after I tell you the reason. But you already know it, don’t you? What reason can a student have for not doing so many things? A student doesn’t watch movies because he is busy with his studies. A student doesn’t go to parties because he is busy with his studies. A student doesn’t meet his buddies because he is busy with his studies. A student doesn’t workout because he is busy with his studies. A student doesn’t go to the barber because he is busy with his studies. A student doesn’t wear properly ironed clothes because he is busy with his studies. A student doesn’t sleep at night because he is busy with his studies. A student doesn’t update his journal because he is busy with his studies. And a student doesn’t talk any sense because he is busy with his studies.
So does that mean that I am switching over to my war mode again? Not really. This time, it’s political mode. This time, I am going to work with the studies to out-do the deadlines. This time, I am going to act upon the keep-your-friends-close-and-keep-your-enemies-closer policy. And this time, I am sure I’ll end up being a complete nerd.
So here it is. I am signing out of Blogistan. I really have had a great time here, and I’ll try my best to come back, but not during the current semester. May be we’ll meet again in the semester break, for which I am anxiously waiting (dreams, pleasant dreams!). And may be if something really interesting strikes my mind during the political mode, I’ll come here to share it with you all. Right now, it’s time to do all my ulti seedhi batein with my new political ally…
Until we meet again, dear Blogistan, Allah Hafiz!
