TDH: Yeah, I know all the deal about white, grey and black hat hackers. And that page has just the definitions which have been circulating around. You might have noticed that it says deprecated in front of the one which defines hacker as an intruder (and who is originally a cracker, or a black hat hacker). The University of Maryland’s definition exists within than university and it also says ‘rare’ about it. Also, originally, hacker was the term coined first in MIT about a student who would attend no classes and sleep in the dorms.

VLady: I would agree, I am not as good a player of words as you are, or maybe I am not as bad a player of words as you are! And LOL at the philosophy behind ‘blurger’. My thanks for creating such an outstanding noun (adjective?) for Mr. Saadat! I am sure he would like it too. By the way, blogger and blurker share the strating ‘bl’ and ending ‘er’, which leaves the ‘ogg’ and ‘urk’, so blogger’s presence in blurger would be 1/3 (33.34%). So it seems that Mr. Saadat is a 33.34% blogger; you are right, this word can only be used for him!

Here’s a new word coined for you: Blurger

Here’s the philosophy behind it (bear it with me please):

Blurger has nothing to do with burgers. It’s derived from two words: blurker and blogger and is a word which can be best (or can only be) used for you (Mr.Saadat). You admit you are more of a blurker. So the word blurger borrows more alphabets from blurker and since you seldom update your blog, there’s only one alphabet borrowed from blogger…’g’.

You stumbled on something wrong .. u see there are white hat hackers and there are black hat hackers and then there is another category which is recently emerging called grey hats ..

black hats .. they work underground causing troubles .. white hats are officially the best helping people around .. and grey hats are black hats turned white hats … kinda complicated …

and the real bad ppl are not hackers .. they are crackers …

Laura: Time is certainly the thing you need to visit and read and comment on all those marvellous blogs out there. And for procrastinators like me, well, sigh.

Sadiya: Well, by now you know what’s blurk (blog-lurk). I agree that it’s a funny word. And nobody said that a blog has to be a diary or a journal. Random thoughts form now and then can be considered a journal. I am not avoiding the term ‘blogger’, rather trying to expand it, which it already has been. And you can put as many questions as you like in a row, but they should be easy. And yep, Balki was so hilarious. As for the Gemini thing, I agree that not everybody who plays with words is a Gemini, but hey, I was just playing with words there.
