For procrastinating bloggers (like yours truly, for instance), a tag does come up as a blessing. For more explanation, follow the link to Bhaijan’s blog and read the starting lines. They very well describe my own situation too.
Three things that scare me
- Bad news
- Responsibilities
- Myself
Three people who make me laugh
- Bros
- Friends
- Children
Three things I love
- Sipping hot cappuccino while watching the sunset on a winter evening
- Fantasizing
- Watching random people in a public place. (No, I don’t stalk them afterwards.)
Three things I hate
- Helplessness
- When people assume something on their own that I did not say or imply
- Bollywood
Three things I don’t understand
- Finance
- Politics
- Myself
Three things on my desk
I don’t have a “proper” desk. Will my computer table do?
- Used Internet prepaid cards
- Few coins of Rs. 1, 2, and 5.
- Loads and loads of work.
Three things I am doing right now
- Eating kaajus
- Listening to Akon’s Lonely
- Thinking of how I can make answers to this tag more interesting
Three things I want to do before I die
- Tour the world
- Become a better person
- Do something really, really good, and thus contribute, however little, to the society
Three things I can do
- Procrastinate. I am a champ.
- Twirl a pen in circles repeatedly using my index and middle fingers. Pretty cool, actually!
- Run. Fast.
Three things you should listen to
- Birds chirping in the morning
- Your inner self
- Me
Three things I’d like to learn
- How to say ‘no’
- Talking sensibly
- Self control
Three favourite foods
- Apples!
- French Fries
- Russian Salad
Three beverages I drink regularly
- Water
- Milk
- Fruit juices
Three TV shows I watched/books I read as a child
- Dhuwan — the amazing PTV serial
- Ishtiaq Ahmad novels. Abbu ji publicly blame them for my spectacles.
- NTM’s 7 pm cartoons shows (Thundercats… ho!)
Three people I would like to tag
Apologies if you’ve already been tagged…
- Saad
- Untamed Desires

That was quick chotey bhai. I agree people watching is such a wonderful passtime. I have a draft lying somewhere on people watching at an airport. Perhaps I should go dig it out and take it beyond the first five lines…
Dhuwan eh? I will always remember it for “Kise da yar na bichRe..” and the amazing way the song was used.
Btw… you really are too modest.

Bhaijan: Yep, you sure should go and complete the people watching at airport
And kise da yaar na wichrray is surely an identity of Dhuwan. Whenever I mention the serial, somebody else mentions this song. I remember each and every frame of the sequence which led to Daoud’s death and then the song. Simply wow!
And, about modesty. I was just being truthful a little
Xill-e-Ilahi: Haha! Great, great, and great!!!

No One: Don’t tell me that you never tried Russian Salad… you are missing a great deal! And by the way, never EVER declare your hatred for apples in front of me! (And yes, you should listen to me!)

No One: The big deal with Russian Salad is that I like it. So is the deal with APPLES! *considers deleting your comment
*
Everythingiseventual: Wow, thanks a wicked lot!
Yes, I made it myself (though there’re so many behind-the-scenes things that need to be fixed). And welcome aboard, by the way!

Very witty. And how about adding 3 reasons why one should listen to you?
I can’t twirl a pen in circles repeatedly using my index and middle fingers though… not without my thumb! How do you do it?

Xill-e-Ilahi: Ah, well. You might be right. You see, I wasn’t kidding when I used the word “procrastinator” for myself
UD: SubhanAllah! Aur mein apnay blog ko khwah-makhwa ulta seedha kehta hon!
Just go and answer the tag! Quick! (And get a medical/psychological checkup for that ajeeb si kaifiyat!)
Hina: Haha, I can come up with millions of reasons why one should listen to me. Here’s one: you should listen to me because you should listen to me. And since you should listen to me, you should also listen to me when I say that you should listen to me. (Kinda recursive, huh?
Maybe now you can figure out how it transforms into millions of reasons. Hint: no stopping criteria for the recursive definition!
)
And as far as twirling the pen is concerned, I am afraid I can’t explain it more than that. Maybe I could post a video of it on YouTube?

That’s a lot many reasons indeed! lol Brilliant! No stack over-flow either, because a human mind is involved!
A YouTube video is most welcome! Just think … what if it becomes so popular that it becomes a sport? Then we can have championship games held. You’ll be so proud then.

Hina: Wow, a championship! But you know what, that championship might introduce some people who could be better than me in twirling the pen. Not good!
Xill-e-Ilahi: Here I am. Back to my blog. Okay, just for replying to comments. But I do hope that an update occurs within the next week.

I had it in my mind to mention it … I mean, to mention that there might turn up people who’d do better than you in the championship. But I didn’t want to lower your spirits (making you stop twirling pens) or heighten them (making you spend of your day twirling pens in order to be the best) … hehe.

Hina: Er, I did realize that something was weird about that sentence, though I didn’t figure out that that was “half of your day”. And, well, I can’t stop twirling pens now, it has become more of a subconscious thing; and neither can I keep on twirling them, it starts to ache after a while!
Khawab: Aur bhi dukh hein zamanay mein blogging kay siwa! By the way, you can do bhangrra? And what’s a Russian dance?
