This blog is no longer being updated. Last post was “Farewell”.
If you haven’t read the graphic novel Watchmen (or, for that matter, seen its movie adaptation), the following panels won’t make much sense to you. However, this shouldn’t stop you from enjoying Rorschach‘s thoughts, which appear throughout the novel as entries into his journal. A little background for these panels for those who do not know: Edward Blake/The Comedian has been mysteriously murdered. Rorschach is quietly visiting his grave after his funeral, reflecting on Blake’s life and personality and thinking of other “superheroes” like Blake and himself.

This is a post… *looks around* Good illustrations,Saadat! Oh wait, you didn’t do this? You just put it up? Naaaice!
Okay, I’m only half teasing.
Anyways… I used to be a hardcore comic book fan when I was a kid and I read all those dark serious types that never made any sense because I could never find the next part. But a good comic, I can’t resist! Specially one with government sponsored superheroes

Specs,
Yes, this is a post. I never got my hands on any dark serious type comic books when I was a kid, but thanks to the world wide web, I have quiet caught up on that. Read Watchmen soon, you won’t be disappointed.
Farooq,
Ah yes, the Comedian’s murder scene is in the beginning, but the scene that I posted here contains flashbacks. And if you really want to enjoy Rorschach’s badass-ness, you have to read the comic. And yeah, I just thought that Eid is about two months away, so I better paste some images.
Huda,
Oh, Farooq is always hilarious.
Minerva,
Trust me, Watchmen contains much more than sci-fi. I think you’ll like it.

Thanks for the name of the movie Saadat!!.
Actually I watched the movie on my way from Lahore to Rawalpindi for Sarim’s wedding on Daewoo, but didn’t get its name cause I slept for the first half hour of the movie. It was really bad of the daewoo administration to show such a graphic and violent movie with families sitting… But I don’t think any of them were able to understand it so I believe no harm done

Ah, well, Daewoo’s management does make one wonder at times. Make sure you watch it again. Or better, read the graphic novel.
