Three II

Monday, November 10, 2008

Call it the second part of Three. Yes, it’s another tag, this time from Mahwash.

Rules are below. They are the reason I am answering this tag.

Tagging/Linking others is entirely optional. You don’t have to sound needy and pathetic at all at anyone else’s blog to beg them to come visit your blog and respond to your blog (God, I’m vicious).

The tag expires after a period of 24 hours.

Tag as many people you like. Don’t tag them if you don’t want to. Don’t mention me if you don’t want to. Mention me if you want to. Heck it’s YOUR blog.

If you don’t see yourself as tagged by someone that’s pointless. This tag is universal. Everyone’s invited.

And no more rules. Introduce a little anarchy.

Fun, eh?

Here we go then.

Three things which you pride yourself upon

  1. Ability to listen
  2. Habit of sleeping early
  3. Duality

Three things you hate about yourself

‘Hate’ would be a strong word. Let’s make it ‘dislike’.

  1. Lack of self discipline
  2. Indifference towards some certain things
  3. Duality

Three things that you can’t let go of

  1. Some old t-shirts
  2. A couple of dreams
  3. Duality!

Three things that you love to eat

  1. Apples!
  2. French fries
  3. Russian salad

Three things you cannot possibly eat in a million years

Anything that is not halal. More than three things, actually.

Three songs you could sing to the rest of the world

  1. Aitebar – by Vital Signs
  2. Hallelujah – (covered) by Arooj Aftab
  3. Mujh Say Pehli Si Muhabbat – by Noor Jehan

Three movies you would show if you had your way around Film Festivals

  1. 3:10 To Yuma
  2. A Few Good Men
  3. Batman Begins

I tag everyone. Include the questions from the previous Three tag as well. Go crazy!

Why does this tag expire? That’s a creative idea, hmmm.
P.S. What makes this part 2 of 3? Are there other ’3′ tags as well?

Tag expires because some people are too lazy to respond.

Expiration dates, like deadlines, are necessary for people to move their asses!

Isloo-ians always sleep early, unless their friends from Karachi are visiting them :D

Mahwash,
Gracias for the kudos! LOL @ your explanation of the expiry date.

Specs,
Yep, creative idea indeed. And the tag doesn’t officially have other parts — I just thought to call it the second part of a similar tag I did before.

Duffer,
Great timing! :D

Dinky Mind,
No compromise on my sleeping times, Dinky sister. I visited Karachi once and while others used to chat through the night, I used to sleep quietly in the next room. :D

I would have loved a few good men if Tom Cruise hadn’t ruined it for me. No matter what his role is he always comes out as simply obnoxiously The Tom Cruise.
But Jack Nicholson was awesome though :D

Thank God! I strolled in here after the tag had expired!! :D

Hira,
Strangely, A Few Good Men is one of those two movies in which I didn’t see Tom Cruise as Tom Cruise. The second was Collateral. And when is Jack Nicholson not awesome?!

Ordinary Girl,
Anarchy, OG. The rules also talk about anarchy. Go ahead with the tag, I say!

# Mujh Say Pehli Si Muhabbat – by Noor Jehan

Sweet.

Karachiwali,
Oh, I didn’t really hate it, but I was kinda disappointed. The feeling didn’t last long though, considering that JJ’s songs in his last album were not really that good.

Asma,
Sweet? Okay, if you say so!

A few good men.
Scent of a woman.
As good as it gets.

What’s with duality? :P You’ve mentiond it THREE, 3, III times!! Does it have something to do with yourself being a Gemini? And is Mujh Say Pehli Si Muhabbat somehow related to duality? (= Answer the THREE, 3, III questions :P

Hina,
ONE) Duality is cool. As in super cool. It always keeps others guessing. Heck, it always keep even me guessing.

2) Yes, it’s a Gemini thing. I just hope that it doesn’t become cool enough to turn into a multiple personality disorder thing.

III) Mujh Say Pehli Si Muhabbat is about gham-e-janan’ and gham-e-dauran’. Those are two sides of gham — duality, indeed! (I hope that Faiz, in his grave, will not be offended.)
