RAWALPINDI: Owner and writer of this journal, Saadat, has said that his war mode has ended.

“It has been a great experience for me,” Saadat told this evening. “Although I had to switch my mode over occasionally due to un-avoidable interrupts, yet my war mode helped me a lot in facing the enemy troops.”

While answering a question about whether or not his goals were achieved, he said, “I would not call myself completely successful. There were many problems faced by me and my companions, both in and outside of the battlefield. As I said that I had to change my mode occasionally, so naturally there were some drawbacks. I couldn’t manage to end the war as I had planned to, but I surely made this end a satisfactory one.”

There have also been rumours about peace talks between Saadat and his studies. When inquired about them, he answered, “Yes, it is time to end the war. We are having our first phase of talks in the form of final exams. The continuation of peace talks depends wholly upon the result of this phase.”

Saadat has also greeted his visitors a very happy Eid-ul-Adha.

“Eid Mubarak, rather Bakray Mubarak!” Saadat exclaimed. “May you all have a wonderful Eid!”

My exams are still to come, Aysha. This war mode was for semester projects, and as far as exams are concerned, I don’t really go on a war against them!
